I now know how to use power point more effectively in the classroom

I loved having a new e-mail. Also, I think using the Inspiration tool. It will be very helpful with writing and thinking maps in our classroom.

I can use the Fair(y) Use Tale and other copyright link with my students and fellow teacher!! Control D was a great aha tool!!

I learned a lot about powerpoint. I have not done that in awhile. It was fun to learn the washout and how to make it scroll on its own!

I think it's great! I want to teach my students how to do this, so that their presentations will be more meaningful.

I sure want to use what i have learned! i want to put the time in to make a godd digitized lesson plan and be able to use it throughout the years! Put the time in and now and then sit back.

I can use this during center time for a review of topics already covered in class. The children will be able to view the reviews at our computer center in my classroom.

I am really hoping I find time to use this in my classroom. I would love to put other lessons on my Edline account. I hope I can come back to this and use it again. It was great.

This session was very informative. I know if I put the time into using the skills I learned today, I would certainly be a more effective teacher with the students.

I teach a video production class and the converters we looked at will be really, really helpful. This among other sites on the DO wiki will be very helpful

I am excited about the Photo Story information. I think this will be a very valuable tool for my grade level. The Audacity will be a little more challenging, but who knows.... Great day! I almost forgot the music downloads - very cool for the children to use.

I think I wouold use audio and images for student book reports. Moviemaker would work well for science and social studies projects. There was a lot of information today and I did better than I expected!!!

Great job, with the project. It was a bit frustrating to be so hurried, but the pressure forced us to work and learn faster. I really needed to get more familiar with movie maker and this did the job.

There was so much information that I will have to take time to figure out how best to use it all. I have already successfully used GMAIL with my students for writing projects. I love the student portfolios and would like to have them at St. James.

I enjoyed the presentation on Inspiration and would like to try that software program in the classroom.

The class was very beneficial to us. The information was very valuable and I really enjoyed Margie's way of presenting to us.

I can't wait to figure out how wiki works from beginning to end. I think the working parents who can't get in to sign up for things will really appreciate the ability to be involved and sign up for things from their desktop.

I enjoyed the class. I really like the thinkfinity.com site. There are some really great things there that can really get kids interested in different subjects. The Movie Maker and Story Teller also really add a whole new dimension to teaching. I really enjoyed the class! :)

It was great to see how Inspiration could turn a Thinking Map into an outline. I also liked the "thinkinfinity" site, especially the comic section. I am looking forward to jazzing up my Open House presentation.

For the past two days (6/18/09-6/19/09) I have learned quite a few beneficial resources. I am really excited to use Inspiration in the classroom. Thanks to Margie for explaining everything so well and teaching us things we didn't even realize we already had on our classroom computers!

Technology in the classroom today helps influence student academic performance, develops higher order thinking and problem solving, and improves student motivation, attitude, and interest in learning, this class gave me a better understanding how to intergrate techonolgy in the classroom.

Teaching technology for movie maker and photo story was the most relevant part of this workshop

I am definitely going to use Windows MovieMaker with my first grade students. The website Thinkfinity is absolutely amazinig for all ages! I will practice using the tools learned over the summer, integraging more technology into my classroom. Thanks!
