I am so happy I took this class. I have enjoyed all of the information presented. I hope there can be an additional class offered to help me learn more and better ways to use the Knowledge I've gained. Thanks to all who have made this class possible, it is a great class.

This was a great way to tie up the summer workshop. I am looking forward to trying Picasa and some of the other math sites I have found.

I am feeling far more creative and confident in using the technology available to me, especially at our new site.

Thank you for the opportunity to learn so much. I feel I have really grown in my use and knowledge of the computer. I learned how to do many new things, got questions answered and enjoyed the "hands on" demonstrations. Great class!

Today was spent reveiwing what we had learned in July, which was great, because I had forgotten how to access things and to use photostory. I also found other items in the wiki that I plan to use this spring with my 6th grade science class. It was a great experience! Thank you.

I thought the class was great...so much information to take in! I am anxious to use inspiration for mapping in the classroom. My concern is time finding the time to use the programs. I would like to use electronic portfolios. Thanks. Once again...great course!

Margie was so concerned that we all knew just what she was presenting. Her enthusiasm about the subject was very obvious. Thank you for being so patient with us. I understood so much more this session.

Margie loves what she does. She always has a possitive spin on any negative comments. We get overwhelomed as teachers of how to use this material available to us, and she brings things back to realitiy. I will use only a little of the material that I learned about but it does help me change things up a bit.

The information that was presented today was very useful. I am excited to try the Inspiration program with my students. I think it will be a great way to use thinking maps with technology. I believe the students will enjoy learning vocabulary when they get to use Inspiration. Also, delicious is a great resource for teachers. Thank you for a great class!

I appreciated the extra time to practice what we had been exposed to briefly before. I look forward to using Windows Movie Maker and integrating videos into my curriculum. Audacity and Picasa will be especially useful.

The summer session was excellent. I didn't need extra time or handouts.

Feb. 6 was probably a good day for those who struggled over the summer. I didn't have any problems with the summer institute so today and the make-up day seemed somewhat unnecessary for me. I think everthing I need in way of reveiw is on the wiki.

I would suggest that future technology institutes have a basic or beginner class for those who need very basic computer instruction and a separate class for those who are already computer literate.

I have learned about tons of resources, squeezing it all into the classroom will be the true challenge.

I have learned about many new resourses. I really like having access to the wiki so I can refer back to it when I attempt to use some of the new technology tools that have been presented to us. I also liked the fact that most resources/programs were free so that we can use them without a financial burden to our schools and can download to try them out at home. Thanks for offering this course.

Perhaps the most significant aspect of today's class for me was the first video with Sir Ken Robinson. He spoke so truthfully of how children learn through many different ways and not just from the neck up. I think we have been teaching the same way for so long, it is not always easy to change. With the fast moving world of technology it is vital for educators to get on board and guide students to successfully use these tools especially in the world of communication. It is overwhelming for a lot of teachers, so as I learn more I can support, encourage, and help other educators begin to feel more comfortable to enter the wifi, pod cast, blog, wiki world our students are immersed in. As teachers it is part of our responsibility to help our students find the dancer with themselves.

I enjoyed the video with Sir Ken Robinson as well. We have paid attention to various learners' types with the multiple intelligences research, but to implement lessons that incorporate different learning styles is a huge challenge. I have found that Technology seems to be a common ground that works with many different types of learners. This course has helped me make sense of many different ways to use Technology....

I loved day 1 of tech camp! It opened my eyes to so many ways to use technology and is giving me the confidence that I can and will do this! (with some practice, of course). I truly believe the message presented by Sir Ken and realize that it is now my turn to grow in order to accept and advance with the creative energies of the students I teach.

I loved the opneing video by Ken Robinson...so much so that I ordered his book from Amazon! I also like the idea of usin the wiki to organize my classroom parents...for things like field trips and parties!!!

Day 1 was an eye opener for me. I learned to use tools more easily that I thought were "way above" my comprehension. Thank you for having these classes to ease my mind.
I can't wait to use these tools in my teaching.

Day 2: I am very excited about learning how to use the Movie Maker. This is a great way to recap the school year for parents and students.
I would also like to explore the possibility creating digital portfolios. Understanding how easy these tools are to implement makes the reality more attainable.

The digital video information will help a great deal with our school TV broadcast. I feel more comfortable now with helping the students produce video of school activities and using them on the news.

Day1-I was very excited to lear more about integrating tecnology in the classroom especially at the prek level. The amount of information shared was great! One of the most important pieces of information I learned was that you can use only 10% of songs in order not to break copyright!
Day2- Digital portfolios- what a great idea. As a prent I would welcome this, as a teacher would like to try this- but I need alittle more instruction:)

I really enjoyed learning how to do the Movie maker. I am going to use it with my children at home to practice and then use it in the classroom next year!
I am tossing around having an interactive discussion (through wiki or blogging) about novels for next year.

I felt frustrated that I did not have enough time to ask questions. I felt I didn't understand the lingo anf therefore often asked for clarification to understand what she was asking us to do.

I felt a little uncomfortable using some of these technologies with middle school students and inviting them to the sites...I will definitely, however, add some of the technologies to my lessons next year. Looking forward to the Smartboard section on Friday. I am inspried to add more music and podcasts to my lessons and presentations next year.

I was so impressed with thinkfinity. Just visiting it once under the topic of literature: poetry, I saw a great interactive on "The Raven" by Edgar Allen Poe which allows students to see the color coded words and phrases that demonstrate such elements as alliteration and assonance. Wow! I'll definitely use.

I also loved Wiki. It will help the middle school team to post times for parent-teacher conferences and allow parents to edit by placing their name by a time slot. That way all parents can see immediately which times are available. Thank you so much for sharing everything.

I loved the iTunes U resources! There is a ton of information on there, and I hope the kids will be as excited about it as I am!

The Photo Story 3 was so much fun. I can't believe I created a project and added music. Thanks for your instruction.

Working in Audacity learning how to zoom in until you get the dots to be able to use the pencil tool. Finding out about the educational podcast in itunes.

Too many "aha" moments! Can't wait to share Lit2Go and GrammarGirl with my teachers.

I am dazed and confused. I did create a photo story and it eventually worked.

I thought the photo story technology will be a definite plus for students creating original stories. The addition of visuals to a story can heighten use of imagination. Students, as Sir Ken Robinson claims, can " dance" and be every kind of success with tools like these in use in our classsrooms. The aha will come when we use the info from this day to awaken student's imaginative impluses. I'lll be using this day's work from day one of the next school year. Thanks for all you do, Margie.

Stepping into the world of Technology was a lot less painful than anticipated thanks to Margie!

The best part of today was the video of "TED". It was excellent. Today I learned how to open and use Wiki, podcasts, and how to make phot stories. It was very educational.

We had a great time making a photo story! Audacity was fun to cut and copy sounds, really liked Lit2go!!

This was a very interesting class. I am beginning to see the potential for my classes.

I enjoyed the program today tremendously and despite feeling a little overwhelmed know I'll feel more confident once allowed to explore each site. I do see the applications as valid assets to teaching and classroom application.

What a wonderful day. Learned so much!! Have so much more to learn. Thank you for Wiki and photo story. I will enjoy "playing" this summer!!!!
